Travis Speight resides in eastern North Carolina along the southern Outer Banks in Emerald Isle. Emerald isle is Located about 20 miles south of Morehead City. Morehead is the home to the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament.
He has not always been an avid fisherman but was introduced to saltwater fishing by his wife's father. What started as pier fishing for Spanish mackerel has evolved into a love for offshore fishing!
His current boat wrap utilizes OceanicGear's Offshore Patriot theme. The boat is a Contender 27 open. It is powered by twin Yamaha 300's and sits upon on a Loadmaster trailer.
Travis and his team consist of life long friend Eddie Braxton and brother James Eason. They will be competing in division 9 of the SKA which will put them in their own backyard for this years nationals in Morehead. The team looks forward to more bluewater fishing and tournaments.
